I was very glad to be part of CODE FEST 2, one of the country’s largest programming and robotics olympiads, hosted at the European Azerbaijan School. It was great to see our campus filled with such energy, curiosity, and creativity from young students.

The event was organized by Start IT, with the support of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation and the Independent Trade Union of Education and Science Workers. It was genuinely impressive to see the level of skills, ideas, and problem-solving students brought with them.

Thank you to the Start IT team for the invitation and for the work you are doing to support digital skills and learning in Azerbaijan.

Initiatives like this remind us that education today is not only about knowledge, but about giving students the tools to create, think, and shape what comes next.
